COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) — Dr. Akil Ross, the former 2018 National Principal of the Year, has just released a new book about education.

It’s entitled “Empowering the Heart, Reviving & Renewing Today’s Education.”

Dr. Ross is set to hold a book signing Thursday May 16th at the Chapin Town Hall ( 157 NW Columbia Ave Chapin, SC ) from 4:30pm – 7:30pm.

Dr. Ross stopped by Good Day Columbia to talk about the recent teacher rally at the State House , the state of education and what teachers are really looking for. (View HERE).
